Our Approach

The Leadership Presence training program addresses three essential skills rarely included in competency-only based programs: Visual Presence, Verbal Presence, and Visual Communication. These are critical to effectively engaging with others as a leader. They can also determine the success or stagnation of an individual or an organization.

 

We illuminate often overlooked issues that impede advancement. By providing concepts and processes so emerging and advancing leaders can confidently project their expertise, Leadership Presence complements, enhances, and extends traditional competency-only programs. This benefits companies in growth mode or transition, as well as long established organizations.

 

Our Approach to Training
Although the Leadership Presence program has a series of four modules at its core—including exercises, handouts, and homework — it is more than just a series of classes.

 

Pre-work
We begin the process by getting to know your organization, participants, culture, challenges, and priorities through a set of questionnaires and interviews. We use this information to tailor our program directly to your situation.

 

The Modules
The four program modules address all three areas of Leadership Presence, and conclude with the Integration module.

 

Bank of Hours
Following the four modules, we provide post-module coaching and consulting with any or all of our experts. This “Bank of Hours,” the “+” of our 4 module program, integrates one of the most powerful components of our Leadership Presence program. These additional hours extend and more deeply integrate the learning for individuals and/or small groups of participants.
 
Debrief
Finally, you’ll receive an Executive Summary of what we’ve learned, and the insights we’ve gained. We’ll also be available for a Feedback session in which we can discuss the Summary and answer your questions. The Debrief provides valuable information to consider as you strategize next steps and future paths for your emerging and advancing leaders and your organization.
